ERTE’s “Kings Favorite” Hand signed Serigraph on vintage Frame

“KING’S FAVORITE“

The Artist Created the image on paper and used it as a maquette to be used as a guide for creating the plates for the finished Lithograph. Using this maquette as a model, Mylar sheets (one for each color) were prepared by Gino Diomaiuto under the artist’s direction and then chemically transferred to twenty -two, emulsion coated, aluminum lithographic plates at The American Atelier in New York City. Proofs were pulled, corrections made and approved by the artist.

The entire edition was pulled, one color at a time, under the supervision of the Technical Director Mauro Guiffreda at The American Atelier. Each print in the Edition was inspected and signed in pencil by the artist in Atlanta, Georgia in March 1979.
